Before time runs out

Before time runs out

We spend so much of our lives chasing things that don’t matter. The next pay check. The next promotion. The perfect clean  house. The perfect body. We stress about bills, deadlines, emails, and things that, when we really zoom out, are so painfully insignificant.

Meanwhile, the people who truly matter sit beside us, waiting for our attention. Our children, who are only little for a little while. Our partners, who crave connection over convenience. Our parents, friends, loved ones, all hoping we remember what really counts.

Time is the one currency we can’t earn back. Every second we spend scrolling, stressing, spending time with insignificant people, or chasing someone else’s version of success is a second we could’ve spent loving harder, laughing louder, or holding someone a little tighter.

We forget how short life is until something reminds us. A diagnosis. A goodbye. A moment that slips away and doesn’t return.

Let this be your reminder: the dishes can wait. The work can pause. The money will come and go.

But the people? They won’t always be here.
So be here now. Give your time to the people that matter. Before time runs out and its too late.
